A couple of days ago, my mom and I went to the Hilbert Conservatory at White River Gardens to photograph the Tropical Flower Exhibit that they have displayed this season. It will only be there another week or so before they replace it with the butterfly exhibit. Right now the Indianapolis Zoo and White River Gardens are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the months of January and February. We went on a Monday, not having this knowledge beforehand. Luckily, we ran into a zoo employee who was really sweet and pulled some strings to let us get in anyway. We ended up having to need three people to get us into the gardens and then into the exhibit itself. They were all really nice and we greatly appreciate all they did for us. I got to try out my new macro lens with the flowers and am very pleased with the results. We had a lot of fun and I just love the beautiful flowers, especially this time of year when everything outside is dead. Thanks again to the employess who helped us make it possible to photograph this exhibit.

I had the opportunity to photograph Chauncey and Stephanie's wedding in December. They are such a sweet couple. We got to do a lot of fun pictures since they got married around Christmas. We went downtown to the Circle and took pictures with everything all lit up. It was so pretty. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your special day.
